About Bob & Anne

ABOUT THE COUNSELLORS

Anne Mariner, M.A., CCC, RCT, and Robert Mariner, M.A., CCC, RCT, are licensed by the Province of Nova Scotia as Registered Counselling Therapists with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists.

They have also met the national standards for certification with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association.

Bob and Anne received their Master's degrees in Psychology from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. They then completed a year of postgraduate studies in Psychology at Dalhousie University. At Dalhousie, Anne was awarded an Assistantship and Bob was awarded a Killam Scholarship.

Anne and Bob obtained specialized training in Couple & Family Therapy at the Institute for the Development of Emotional and Life Skills in Bethesda, Maryland.

Bob and Anne have been married since 1966. They have a son living in Halifax, and a son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter in Montreal.
